Warranty FAQ

  • What does my warranty cover?
    Your warranty covers the repair or replacement, at SYM / Alliance's option, any part which is defective in material or factory workmanship under normal use for the applicable warranty period. For further details please see your warranty booklet. (Competition models are excluded from warranty coverage)

  • How do I obtain warranty coverage?
    In order to obtain warranty coverage, the first step would be to take your product to an authorized SYM / Alliance dealer for diagnosis. Your dealer will determine if there is warranty coverage.

  • Is my factory warranty transferable?
    No, your warranty is only valid to the original registered owner.

  • Is my factory warranty valid at any authorized Alliance dealer?
    Yes, any SYM / Alliance dealer that is authorized to sell and service your motorcycle, motor scooter, ATV, PWC or MUV should be able to assist you.

  • I would like to have my own independent repair facility perform warranty repairs.
    Normally, only authorized SYM / Alliance dealers are able to offer warranty coverage. Under certain conditions, emissions warranty repairs performed by a non-authorized SYM / Alliance dealer may be covered. For further details please see your warranty booklet.
